Central Machine & Ag Repair, a family-owned shop in Big Sandy, Montana

About the shop

Rooted in Big Sandy and Rocky Boy

Central Machine & Ag Repair is a family-owned shop with roots in two of north-central Montana's communities. Chauncy Terry grew up in Big Sandy and trained as a welder before opening the shop in late 2020. His wife, Amber, is from the Rocky Boy's Reservation — home of the Chippewa Cree Tribe — and runs the office and the CNC plasma table.

Together, the Terrys built a Native American–owned business proud to serve both the farms and ranches of the Golden Triangle and the families of the Bear Paw country and Rocky Boy. Two communities, one shop, and the same honest, straightforward work for everyone who comes through the door.

From livestock equipment and hydraulic repair to custom fabrication and plasma-cut steel art, we serve Chouteau County, the Bear Paws, and beyond.
